Howard was in the US Navy, so our honeymoon was in California.  At left: in San Diego.  Above: Knott's Berry Farm, in Buena Park.

 

 

We grew up together in Lyons; Howard married his best friend Carl Seaton's sister.  The photo at right was taken January 1, 1952 and Howard had just let his family know of his interest in Marge.

After his leave, he phoned from Treasure Island, San Francisco, California, and proposed; Marge accepted.
