 Cindy
Keeley was born and raised in Kansas City. She was
raised in church by her mother, Barbara Kennemore, and from
an early age her mother would encourage her to sing.
As a young girl Cindy would sing at family reunions and
Christian events. Her mother always told her, "God
gave you your voice and you need to use it for Him." Cindy accepted Jesus as her personal savior at the age of 11. In her early teens Cindy along with two other girls formed a group called "The Sunshine Singers." They won first place in the Kansas City area Assemblies of God Christ's Ambassadors youth program. Cindy is a member of "CMM" Christian Music Ministries, and serves as secretary for them. She is also a member of Mo-Kan Gospel Music Association, and is President of that organization. She is also a member of "CGMA" Country Gospel Music Association. In 2008 she received the Central Division Acappella Artist of the Year with CGMA. Along with her busy activities with these organizations Cindy has her own personal ministry. Cindy's husband, Charles "Darrel" Keeley, supports her in her music ministry 100% and travels everywhere with her. Cindy along with her husband enjoy spending time with their five grown children and she adores being grandma to her nine precious grandkids. She just released her first CD last year and went into full time ministry January 1st of 2009. Cindy wants to continue serving her Lord in spreading His message through music and song. Her mission is to praise Jesus through her songs and win souls for Him. |
