A team of 11 volunteers from NewSpring
Assembly of God in Jenks, Oklahoma and Woodlake
Assembly of God in Tulsa came to Hydaburg during July to do some maintenance
work on the church. The project was directed by Pastor Howard Marshall
of Klawock, who is currently serving as Interim Pastor of Hydaburg.
Hydaburg hosts were Steve & Jacque Dilts; they provided halibut and
salmon for the team, which was GREATLY enjoyed! So were the cookies
and cakes provided by the folks of Prince of Peace Assembly in Klawock.
The team arrived late on a Wednesday and left the following Wednesday morning, and what a week they put in! They even had time for some sightseeing and fishing with Jeff & Pam Fredericksen of Hook-a-Chinook in Craig. You can learn more about MAPS at www.ag.org/ -- it's a program for volunteers. |
